As I’ve many of you know, I DO NOT LIKE NICOLE SCHERZINGER’S SOLO MATERIAL. As far as I know, she is nothing compared to the Pussycat Dolls. “Whatever You Like” was tolerable but failed to chart miserably. “Baby Love” is just repulsive. Nicole, however, seems to be working her ass off to save what’s left of her artistic cred. The Rap-Up reports that Nicole Scheringer pushed her album back from a Nov. 7 release to Nov. 20th as well as adding a few more tracks to Her Name Name Is Nicole:
• “I Blow†featuring Busta Rhymes
• “Power’s Out†featuring Sting, written by The-Dream (Rihanna, J. Holiday)
• “Save Me†with Ne-Yo
• “When You’re Falling†with Akon
Nicole teams up with Busta Rhymes who worked with her and her posse (PCD) in 2006, and with natural born chart toppers Ne-Yo and THE AKON (about 7 million of his tracks have reached the US Top 10, at the same time of course). I’m curious and intrigued by the Sting collab, but the cynic in me is telling me that it will tank faster than “Whatever You Want” (not even T.I. could save that song).
