Jay-Z’s performance at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York is about to
be broadcast for the whole world to see, thanks to msn.com. The concert “in its entirety” (and supposedly “unedited”) will be broadcasted starting this Tuesday Nov. 20th. Expect special guest appearances by Diddy and Weezy (Lil Wayne for you unhip folks). I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw some Beyonce cha-cha… okay maybe a little.

It was announced yesterday on NME.com that Radiohead will release the physical version of their new album, In Rainbows, through XL Recordings on December 31st. With this announcement also came the news that on January 14, Radiohead will release “Jigsaw Falling Into Place†as the first single off the new album. No word yet on whether a video is in the works, but yesterday, Radiohead ran another test webcast on their new website, www2.radiohead.tv, where after some strange footage of a guy in a costume DJing and Thom Yorke dancing around, the band assembled to cover Björk’s “Unravel.†A full video webcast from the new website is expected sometime today around 9 PM GMT, or around 4 PM EST. For now, I’ve posted links to “Jigsaw Falling Into Place,†Radiohead’s cover of Björk’s “Unravel,†as well as the full video from yesterday’s test webcast. (CA)
