Lady GaGa Has A Dick

Lady GaGa Has A Dick mp3
and I probably love her more for it. Ha.

I have a scary fascination with this woman. Make sure you catch her live shows at least once. Her personal anecdotes are almost more interesting than her performances.

Here are some GaGa remixes that I’ve been ignoring. They are definitely worthy of weekend playlists. Oh and that LAZRtag remix of “Poker Face” is epic.

Wale ft. Lady GaGa – Chillin (The Knocks Remix)
Lady GaGa ft. Marilyn Manson – Love Game (Chew Fu Remix)

Mixtapes are strange beasts. They’re held in a different light than albums – new ideas painted over familiar canvasses featuring a variety of voices. Often, mixtapes seem minimally edited, as if they were rushed out as fast as possible without worrying about polish or shine. They are sketches, samplers, tastes of what may come to full fruition in the future.

But this form – which started underground and now rears its head in the mainstream – has started to shift its shape. More care is given to production, and many songs seem like they’d be right at home on a proper release. The line has become blurred.

Wale’s latest mixtape, Back to the Feature, blurs the line even more.

Wale – Family Affair

Wale Family Affair listen
I tried to keep up with this new wave of rappers that seem to be hitting hard this year, but it has been too damn hard. Do you know how often these dudes are dropping new material? It’s exhausting. Go to the rap blogs that update 40 times a day if you need to be up-to-date on every crappy song some Twapper zShares, but this Twapper (a rapper who leaks songs via Twitter) happens to offer an almost constant stream of decadent material. This new track, “Family Affair,” is a huge improvement from the last track I posted from Wale, “Penthouse Anthem” way back in April — no doubt, there are about a dozen new Wale tracks that have leaked since then and now. Wale – Penthouse Anthem

Wale Penthouse Anthem listenA few minutes after Wale asked the twittersapiens how to upload a song onto zShare, he leaked this new track, “Penthouse Anthem.” Intriguing title? Rolling your eyes? Not just yet. “Penthouse” features laidback beats that reminds you of a — wait for it — cocktail penthouse party. Yeah, I know, terrible joke.

As he went to explain, this song was written in appreciation the beautiful, non-shy women (aka strippers) out there. I guess it goes without saying that every hip hop record needs a track glorifying strippers.

Take a listen.

Wale & Lady GaGa – Chillin’

[rating:75/100]
Wale & Lady GaGa Chillin listenWale (rhymes with Lupe, I’m sick of people calling him whale) has finally dropped the first single off his debut album, Attention: Deficit which will see its release this summer. The DCist brings his absolute A-game in this what will be the biggest electro-rap single since Kanye’s very own “Stronger.” I can call this with little doubt because of Lady GaGa’s involvement in the track. It seems that she can do no wrong on the radio nowadays.

If you have been following Wale’s latest couple of mixtapes, you’d know that Wale isn’t covering new ground on “Chillin’,” but instead, he is repaving the road he’s built up so far. If this is your first taste of Wale, then you’re lucky enough to have “Chillin’” as your head squire in your quest to find Wale. Continue reading →
