Mary Timony, the prolific American singer/songwriter who's involved in Wild Flag, Helium and Autoclave, has fronted a new band called Ex Hex, a power pop trio serving a hefty platter of punk rock anthems. Their self-titled LP dropped last week, and they have now released a video for "Waterfall," directed by New York cartoonist M. Wartella, who offered this apt description of it: "It’s basically Rock & Roll Space Vixens invade Washington, DC." The video features a variety of punk music icons, including Michelle Mae (The Make-Up, Weird War), Francy Z. Graham (Chain and the Gang), Kid Congo Powers (Nick Cave, The Cramps, The Gun Club), and Alec MacKaye (Ignition, The Faith, The Warmers). Watch it below:
