The only reason we've been able to stop shedding bitter, whiskey-flavored tears about the disbanding of the Walkmen is that pretty much all the members have announced new solo albums. We're particularly excited about frontman Hamilton Leithauser's solo venture, Black Hours, just because we love his voice so much, and we're psyched to hear what he's got in store to follow up excellent lead single "Alexandra." Our next taste of the record comes in the form of "11 O'Clock Friday Night," which features vocal help from Dirty Projectors' Amber Coffman. Check out the video, directed by fellow Walkman Paul Maroon and starring Leithauser biking through New Orleans during Mardi Gras in a white suit. It's a great song and a great video that makes us wonder why Coffman and Leithauser haven't sung together before. Unfortunately, the release date of Black Hours has been pushed back to June 3, but we think this one'll tide us over. Check it out.
