Adele’s spent most of her short career channeling soul and pop alike into simple, hyper-emotional ballads about the pain of love. It works like a charm for her – your mom probably loves Adele as much as you do – so her sophomore album 21 is packed with gorgeous, heart-rendering tracks. One of our favorites is “Someone Like You” – Adele’s supple vocals flow like a frozen waterfall over driving arpeggiating piano in the minorest of minor keys. The song’s got a matching video now, showcasing a lovelorn Adele wandering through a gray, gothic Paris, wistfully singing to her viewer about her longing for better days.
