It seems like Arcade Fire are working on building a Daft Punk-level of anticipation for their new record, which many believe may be called Reflektor. The indie rock luminaries have been hyping an event to go down on 9/9 at 9PM (EST) for a while now – here is the latest teaser, this time featuring 40 seconds of new music. The trailer shows the band getting ready to kick off a performance, presumably their new single, which will be the payoff for fans at the Reflektor event on Monday, according to Triple J’s music director.

Check out the new trailer below:

Arcade Fire’s new album is officially out October 29. Other than that, details are scant. We hope that all chances on September 9.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
