Never let anyone tell you public television isn’t a great resource – if they do, just cite PBS’s award-winning live music show, Austin City Limits, and this hour-long Bon Iver performance that’s free to watch both on TV and on the internet. Justin Vernon and his huge band (which is a pretty solid and totally accurate alternate band name in case they ever tire of Bon Iver) run through cuts from For Emma, Forever Ago, Blood Bank and Bon Iver, with no shortage of orchestral instrumentation, choir vocals, two drummers, and about six guitars. Check it out.
