“Ken” may just be the shot of energy you need to make it through the rest of the workday and into your two days of glorious, off-the-leash freedom. The song barely goes for two and a half minutes, but, you know, two shots of whiskey are much smaller than a pint of beer and you know how that goes. There couldn’t be more than 2:30 of this. Ex Cops debut album is also the debut release for Other Recording Co., and that goes down on the 22nd. It’s called True Hallucinations.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
