For a series in which young bands cover Leonard Cohen classics, called Old Ideas With New Friends, New York duo Cults offer this sweet rendition of 1988’s “Everybody Knows.” More Leonard Cohen covers by some of your favorite bands are forthcoming, including ones by Deerhunter and Atlas Sound’s Bradford Cox and New Pornographer’s AC Newman.

Last we checked in with Cults, they were working on a hip-hop remixtape, with the likes of Freddie Gibs and Lil B. They even released a track from the novel project. As for Leonard Cohen, the living legend has just released his first album in nearly eight years. Check out our review.
