Washed Out Plays “New Theory” on iPad in the Back of a Cab

For the excellent Black Cab Sessions, chillwave pioneer Washed Out performs an nearly unrecognizable rendition of his breakout hit “New Theory” on an iPad, all in the back of a moving car. If you’re interested in making your own stellar, shimmering bedroom synthpop on an iPad, Washed Out is using an app called NanoStudio. (Caution: talent not included.)
