It’s kind of a bold move to cover any LCD Soundsystem song. They all seem distinctly of that band, like they were delicately arranged pieces of the soul of James Murphy. Yet MS MR have had the gall to go on an Australian radio show called “Like A Version” and cover “Dance Yrself Clean.” But we have to say, the New York duo kills it. Lizzie Plapinger’s voice is gorgeous, and they manage to freshen without detracting from the song’s gloriously satisfying breakdown.
