We’ve all known that Kid Cudi wanted to transfer into rock’n’roll territory for some time now; we’ve also known that he would be contributing to the soundtrack of the upcoming Colin Farrell-starring, Craig Gillespie-directed Fright Night remake. Cudi killed two birds with one stone today by releasing “No One Believes Me,” produced by one Dot Da Genius, and also put out its accompanying and slightly haunting music video directed by Gillespie himself.

Harmonizing his signature crooning over a grungy, mean-spirited and disturbed beat by Genius, it seems that Cudi’s adventure into rock may sound better than some expected. Check out the highly entertaining clip for “None One Believes Me” in the player below:
