YACHT has been a music-making entity for ten years this month, so they’re celebrating with a new track, “Second Summer,” and an accompanying, touchingly weird, sensory-overload animated video by the collective ADHD. It’s a short song, clocking in a little under two minutes, but it gets the point across: Claire Evans sings “Can you stand by your man when shit hits the fan?” over a beat that’s half club banger and half vaguely cinematic theme music. Check it out – and catch the band’s anniversary show if you’re in LA this weekend.
