“Goodnight Nobody” knows melancholy, and suffers it so that we might not have to. As Nerves Junior frontman Zack O’Renick has explained, it’s a song about the pains of growing up, and explaining them to his daughter. The resulting song exudes compassion, and it’s gorgeous. Nerves Junior made our favorite record of 2011, and we’re excited to see a revamped iteration of the band back making music in 2013. “Goodnight Nobody” is from their Craters EP, which came out last month. The band is also on the road, check out the tour dates below:
