iTunes is giving away the brand new Shins video for “Simple Song,” which just happens to be one of our Top 3 favorite Shins songs. The clip isn’t available on YouTube…yet. It may be slightly annoying, but the only way to watch the video right now is to go onto iTunes and download it for free. But then you can watch it on your computer and smartphone and tablet all you want, kind of like when it’s on YouTube!
On March 20th, The Shins will release their long awaited Port of Morrow album on James Mercer’s very own Aural Apothecary imprint. You can listen to another new Shins song called “September” here.
