Tune-Yards’ W H O K I L L album opener “My Country” is still one of our favorite cuts even a year after the record dropped, so we’re psyched that it’s Merrill Garbus and co.’s next single. Following in the footsteps of the colorful kindergarten recess insanity of the “Bizness” video, Garbus returns to the schoolroom and its host of dramatic, playful, face-painted kids, all of whom seem born to be rock stars. The video, like the song, exudes the kind of youthful attitude that’s as contagious as that bubbly bassline. Check it out.
