“Shake it Out” is the triumphant fight song and second single from Florence + the Machine’s upcoming Ceremonials – typically Florence in the best way, catchy as hell, with both lyrics and a groove that will inspire you to forget your worries, get up, and dance – and it now has a woozily beautiful video to go along with it.

Its David Lynchian masquerade ball setting isn’t only appropriate for the album’s Halloween release date, but it allows Ms. Welch herself to wear lots of awesome outfits, engage in lots of group dance sequences, and generally indulge in the endearingly arty vibe that makes her such a great artist. Enjoy.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
