If you have 12 minutes to spare, watch Chicago Music Exchange’s Alex Chadwick performing 100 guitar riffs that outline the history of the rock n’ roll era. We’ve got to say we’re loving that, according to this very talented guitarist, the last landmark guitar riff rock has given us is the hook on St. Vincent’s “Cruel.”

But we do have to bring up a glaring omission: Radiohead. There are plenty of riffs to choose from but two obvious choices come to mind: “The Bends” (around the 2:55 mark), “Paranoid Android” (around the 3:04 mark). I don’t think we can seriously have a conversation about the history of rock n’ roll without at least mentioning Radiohead in the top 100. Nonetheless, it’s a fascinating video that showcases just how powerful a guitar can be.

What was that? A chorus of YAS QUEENS from the PMA Offices? No, no, definitely not.
