Austin’s own White Denim, who recently released their latest full length, D, have just premiered a new music video in honor of all the Proms that went down last month.

Album highlight, the lush and considerably slower ballad “Street Joy,” houses a vintage VHS style clip of what looks to be someone’s prom from the late 1980s. Old station wagons, retro hair cuts and seriously grainy, lo-fi recordings help provoke some serious nostalgia, though the boys of White Denim are all there in their prom suits, rocking out on the small stage. How this was shot anytime after 1995 is beyond me, they must have had access to a really old camera or something. Check it out below and take a trip down memory lane.
