Adam… he conflicts me about as much as Megan Joy and her tattoo. With Megan, it’s like I hate you because you can’t sing, but you’re so damn entertaining that I can’t help it. With Adam it’s like, you have an amazing, effortless voice but I hate you because you’re too musical theater.

And man oh man, I can’t wait for your review of tonight’s elimination. CAW! CAW!

oh my god. Did you all see what Lady Gaga was wearing? What is that thing on her shoulder? And what is that thing on her eye?

If she was on American Idol – she’d never be famous. Too many distracting pieces of clothing and makeup and costumes we’re afraid of.

ok, i consider myself a HUGE idol fan but i can’t get excited about this year’s batch. i don’t see any of them having star quality. adam (meth-face, as i refer to him) has freak show quality, i think he has a great voice but when he performs, it feels artificial. i’m just so disappointed! one thing i can be positive about, megan needs to go, what a mess!

I’m over Megan big time. More because of her attitude on the last two shows than her voice. I think she thinks she’s being cute…but it’s very off putting.

I think if forced I would have to go with Danny’s snow jacket…at least I’d be warm.

Allison Allison Allison…what were you thinking?! I know this is a singing competition and not a fashion show…but seriously when what you’re wearing is that distracting you can’t help but focus on it. Fashion aside I didn’t like her vocals last night either. She started out okay, but once she hit the chorus it went downhill.

Megan definitely needs to go home, but as we have seen from seasons past…that’s not always how it goes. As much as I want her to go, it will not surprise me if she isn’t even in the bottom 3. She and Scott need to go and it won’t matter what order, but if someone else goes before both of them…the voters need a good smack in the head.
I’ll say it again…I really think Paula gets her dresses from the closet of rejected 1987 high school prom dresses. She really shouldn’t be one to talk about the contestants wardrobe picks. Glass houses…stones…

I am really really sick of the judges discussing what the contestants are wearing in the same breath as their performance.

When the judges were going to town on Allison’s dress – you couldn’t really hear her because her mic was turned down – but she actually said “Is my dress gonna sing?”

And I have to agree. I’d love to get a show of hands one night in the Idol audience and see how many people actually allow what they are wearing to affect their votes. SO DUMB.

Finally, someone agrees with me. Adam’s a great singer, not really my cup of tea, but I completely see him as the lead singer of an 80s glam band. Firehouse (not firehose) or something. The judges keep saying he’s ‘radio ready’, but I just can’t see it… He reminds me of the lead singer of the Darkness from a few years ago. And I’m amazed that Kris has gotten so far without being profiled during the audition stages. A tribute to his skillz (keeping it real for Paula)

@Jack: Matt’s totally losing his star quality. Great way to put it. I think he could also be in serious trouble this week. You could easily exchange Lil (in my bottom 3) with him. I think Kennetha may be right… Matt’s fanbase may not be able to carry him.
