MP3: Chromeo - "Hot Mess" f/ La Roux

Montreal duo Chromeo's sultry new track, “Hot Mess,” from their sophomore effort Business Casual, has received the "re-do" treatment from London's own electronic duo, La Roux. The track maintains the same beat and production quality as the original, but adds a few new verses from Ms. Elly Jackson, who feeds off Dave 1's steamy verses and P-Thugg's ubersynthesized vocals. Jackson sounds fitting accompanying the 80s style synth pop and alluring disco beats, and though La Roux's 2009 debut focuses on frolicsome electro-pop, she's never appeared on something this downright promiscuous. The “Hot Mess” 12” single, which will also feature remixes from Tiga and Duck Sauce, comes out January 17. Listen and download the "Hot Mess" 12-inch version below:

Also, don't forget that Chromeo hooked up with another high profile front person for their Business Casual, Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig.
