Last July, it become apparent that Massachusetts' twisted synth pop rockers DOM, lead by eponymous frontman Dom, had a thing for hip hop labels after his statement that it was the band's dream to be signed by Lil Wayne. Shortly after, it was no surprise to learn that the outfit worked with Atlanta's own repeat offender, Gucci Mane, (who is currently in a mental hospital in Georgia) on a remix of their lead single “Living In America” from their debut EP, Sun Bronzed Greek Gods. Six months later, and the remix has finally arrived. The version is slowed down, screwed and chopped, with a rich, preeminent bass and even more colorful, electronic induced synths that serve well under Mane's Southern swag. The rendition will not appear on the upcoming remixed and remastered Sun Bronzed Greek Gods, out February 15th via Astralwerks/Burning Mill.
