After briefly teasing it a couple of days ago, Justin Timberlake has shared "Take Back The Night," the first single of the second installment of The 20/20 Experience. Which, by the way, is not so much a new album, but more a continuation of the album JT released in March. It seems to have always been planned as a double-album - one too epic to be taken in all at once, so they decided to sell it in two parts, like a Hollywood blockbuster.
The second disc of The 20/20 Experience will be out on September 30. It'll include 11 new songs, though obviously a thematic departure from the first part of 20/20 Experience should not be expected (listen to "Take Back The Night" for proof).
According to the press note, the second half of The 20/20 Experience will also include "a surprise form Justin."
Says JT: "I originally recorded a massive amount of material and decided on the 20 tracks that I wanted on the album over a year ago. But, when I was mixing and going through all of the songs there were so many that I loved - I couldn't resist... I had to throw in something extra on the 2nd half." An 'N Sync reunion?
