Mississippi hero Big K.R.I.T. has been making the rounds over the last few weeks, shining while supporting rap greats like The Roots, T.I. and now Ludacris on new slow-burner "I'm On Fire". He's becoming something like the Joe Pesci of hip hop isn't he?

It's not a bad position to be in. He should be getting his Robert DeNiro on soon with his upcoming official debut Live from the Underground, due out sometime in 2012.

Luda is definitely passed his prime, but his new mixtape, 1.21 Gigawatts, is still one to look out for. It's due out 11/15.
