MP3: New Moonface (Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown)

If you're a fan of Spencer Krug, you know he has a fondness for writing lengthy songs, whether for Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown or his most recent moniker, Moonface, (see his debut 20 min long, single track EP called “Marimbas And Shit-drums”).

A few months ago Krug announced his first LP as Moonface, Organ music Not Vibraphone Like I'd Hoped, would be dropping in the summer and released the first single “Fast Peter.” Now, he's giving away a non-album track in promotion of the record, the 8 min plus “The Way You Wish You Could Live In The Storm.”

The song is very keyboard/synth friendly and spends its time growing to a climax, like his other songs as Moonface. Cop it below; Organ Music Not Vibaphone like I'd Hoped drops August 2nd via Jagjaguwar.
