It's only the end of July, but it looks like the Weeknd's gearing up early for the autumn with another new, seemingly unattached track called "King of the Fall" (it follows up his similarly random release of "Often"). It's a great track, sexy and triumphant, with Abel Tesfaye expostulating on his prowess, sexual and otherwise, in that singular falsetto, over a swarming, maximalist backbeat. Plus, the single artwork looks like it features Sky Ferreira. As a bonus, the Weeknd will head out on a quick tour, also called "King of the Fall," with Jhene Aiko and Schoolboy Q, this autumn. Check out the track and those dates below, and stay tuned - hopefully, the floodgates have opened and we'll hear more soon.
The Weeknd, Jhene Aiko, and Schoolboy Q:
09-19 Brooklyn, NY - Barclays Center
09-21 Toronto, Ontario - Molson Canadian Amphitheatre
10-09 Los Angeles, CA - Hollywood Bowl
10-10 San Francisco, CA - Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
