Run the Jewels’ cat-remix album, Meow the Jewels, has finally been released. You can download it for free here. Meow takes the blistering tracks from last year’s RTJ2 and producers like Massive Attack’s 3D, Portishead’s Geoff Barrow, Alchemist, Zola Jesus, Just Blaze, Boots and Blood Diamonds throw some cats on them.

In the album’s liner notes, El-P and Killer Mike wrote: “Run the Jewels would like to thank our friends, fans and fam who made this record possible, together we have managed to do a little good using the stupidest method possible and for that we salute you."

On Twitter El-P continued: “Did we make the silliest, occasionally most grating possible remix album? Of course. And we did it for you, Mike roBwn and Eric Garner.”

The duo has announced that all proceeds from the physical release of Meow the Jewels will be donated to charities that benefit victims of police brutality.
