The 2015 Grammy Nominations Have Been Announced

Is it time to hate-watch the GRAMMYs already?

The 2015 GRAMMY Nominations have been pouring in all morning long, slowly and painfully. Like a series of unwanted sneezes, they're still a-comin', but many of the big categories have already been unveiled: Sia, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Iggy Azalea and Maghan Trainor are chasing after "Record of the Year"; all of them, minus Iggy, will battle indie pop breakout Hozier for "Song of the Year"; Haim, Sam Smith, Iggy are up for "Best New Artist."

On the albums side of things, St. Vincent, Arcade Fire, Alt-J, Cage the Elephant and Jack White are up for "Best Alternative Music Album"; Coldplay, Miley, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran and, yes, Sam Smith are up for "Best Pop Vocal Album"; Ryan Adams, Beck, Black Keys, U2 and Tom Petty are up for "Best Rock Record"; ScHoolboy Q, Childish Gambino, Iggy Azalea, Eminem, Common and Wiz Khalifa are up for "Best Rap Album"; and Beyoncé, Jhené Aiko, Chris Brown and Pharrell are up for "Best Urban Contemporary Album," whatever the fuck that's supposed to be.

The nominees for "Album of the Year" won't be announced until tonight’s “A Very Grammy Christmas” special on CBS at 9PM EST.
