Afghan Whigs announce new album, Do to the Beast

It's been a whirlwind couple years for fans of the Afghan Whigs. After officially disbanding in 2001, the band released two new songs in 2006, went on a reunion tour in 2012, and played "Climax" with Usher at SXSW in 2013. But 2014 promises to be even crazier - the band have just confirmed their first album in sixteen years, Do to the Beast, which their old label Sub Pop will release on April 15. That's all we know right now, but we're sure we'll be hearing more soon - perhaps their appearance at Coachella foreshadows a full tour? We'll keep you updated.
