What we know so far: the Arcade Fire have been taking a sneaky, social-media based approach to leaking information about their new record. They've confirmed all the details so far via tweets to random fans, and the internet suspects they've confirmed more via a mysterious Instagram account, "reflektor," which posts daily images of that word in a diamond-shaped chalk logo around the world. But yesterday, instead of posting the logo, the account posted images that read "9pm 9/9."
With the new Arcade Fire album coming out October 29, it wouldn't be a stretch to think September 9 is when they premiere the first single. But we guess we'll need to wait four weeks for whatever these guys have in store - stay tuned, maybe we'll get more cryptic information in the meantime.
