Kanye West’s confidant and protégé, Travis Scott says West’s highly-anticipated and perpetually-forthcoming follow-up to Yeezus is actually on its way and “coming very soon.”
On Friday, October 30, Scott called in to Apple Music’s Beats 1 for a quick interview where he spent a moment discussing West’s new album, SWISH (formerly known as So Help Me God). “That Ye album is nothing to sleep on. That Ye album is coming very soon. It’s lit,” Scott promised.
This isn’t the first time Travis Scott has spoken to the press about West’s upcoming album. Back in June, speaking to L.A.’s Power 106, Scott waxed emphatic. “[SWISH] is amazing,” he said. “He’s on his producing shit. He’s on his God-level rapping shit. It’s that Kanye everybody wants. It’s some ultimate shit.”
Recently, Travis Scott has become a frequent Kanye West collaborator. His West co-production and co-writing credits include Yeezus’ “I am a God” and “New Slaves” and this year’s “All Day”.
