According to Brian Message, “a partner in Courtyard Management,” Radiohead’s management company, the Oxfordshire foursome will release their highly anticipated new album in June. Early reports portrayed Message as Radiohead’s manager but the band as clarified that though he’s a partner at their management company, he “plays no operational role” within the band. They did not refute his claims, however.
Recent reports also indicate that Paul Thomas Anderson has shot a music video for an upcoming Radiohead single. Here are 13 songs that might end up on Radiohead’s new album. The band has also released a free download of their rejected Bond theme song/best Radiohead song in nearly 9 years, “Specter”.ne
Brian Message later spoke to the The Guardian, where he said he is “praying every night” that Radiohead release the new album to the streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music.
On streaming he said, “I’m looking forward to the day [the album] does come out. And I hope—I really hope—it does come out on streaming services. To say that’s been answered, believe me it hasn’t, but I’m praying every night that it does.” He continued, “There should be 200 million-plus paying subscribers [on streaming services], but there aren’t. So when you’re stuck in the trenches and there are still under 100 million subscribers, it’s hard [to see the benefits of streaming].”
