She and Him: Announce New Album Volume 3 + Summer Tour

She and Him Volume 3

Every act big enough to make news simply by announcing a new album without giving us any new music seems to be making such announcements this week –– so far: Daft Punk (sorta), James Blake, MGMT. (Look back another few weeks and we have single-less album announcements from Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Whew.)

She and Him are the latest to pull this stunt, and all we get is this album cover which confirms that Zoey Deschanel still has very dreamy eyes. Volume 3 is out May 7 on Merge, and then she and M. Ward will be hitting the road for an early summer tour of North America. Gaze on.
