The National: Announce New Album out in May, Tour

The National are back on the block. The band have announced a follow up album to 2010's gorgeous High Violet,  and a tour in support. As of right now, the Brooklynites plan to release the album in May on 4AD and then head out for a string of east coast and European dates. There's no new music or album details yet, but you can check out the tour stops below. Notably, four of their shows are with the Dirty Projectors, which should make for some evenings of excessively beautiful expression of the human condition. Or cool shows, however you like to view things.
