The Weeknd announces huge tour, 'Kiss Land' out "end of summer"


After a modest live show and an opening slot for Florence + The Machine, The Weeknd is ready to take his lofty songbook on the road in a bigger way. Throughout September and October, he will headline big theaters across North America before heading out to fill arenas in the UK in November. He's calling the outing, "The Fall Hour," referencing one of his best songs thus far, "The Fall."

By this time, we can expect to already be familiar with Kiss Land, The Weeknd's first official album (his three 2011 mixtapes, where just that, mixtapes), which is apparently due out "the end of summer." So, late August? As always with these vague release windows, take it with a grain of salt.
