It's been a busy 2014 for Timbaland. The rapper/producer/singer produced most of Michael Jackson's posthumous album Xscape - read our review - as well as producing a track for Coldplay's Ghost Stories. Regardless, that hasn't stopped the artist from working on his own music, revealing in a new interview with Revolt the details surrounding his fourth studio album, Opera Noir.
Timbaland had first discussed the idea for the album last year, when it was called Textbook Timbo, but during the interview says how the project evolved when he realized "what I want to do." The album will about his life "in general"; unlike previous efforts, the guest appearances here will be scarce, and only feature Cee-Lo Green and an artist Timbo mentions only as V. To top it all off, he refers to the album as "my Chronic." That's legit. Listen to his Drake and James Fauntleroy featuring "Know About Me" below.
