Want to Hear Kendrick Lamar's New Album? Just Ask His Ten-Year-Old Brother

Still no word on when the follow-up to Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City drops

Kendrick Lamar has been on a press tour lately, promoting his latest single "i," freestyling over Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off," and teasing us about the follow-up to 2012's dare-I-say epic LP, Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City. But despite the media interviews, we have no clue when this album is actually coming out - though it was speculated that it would drop by the end of this year. We didn't even know if the album was finished yet, until now.

In a recent interview with Sirius XM’s DJ Whoo Kid, Kendrick informed him that somebody does indeed have a copy of the album: his ten-year-old brother. “You gonna have to go through my little brother,” Kendrick said. “No, real talk. He has it. He has the album and he told me what he likes. That’s my A&R right there. He has a sophisticated ear. He’s in somebody’s elementary [school] right now knowing all the lyrics. Telling ’em, Watch.” Damn. There's no doubt that kid is the most popular boy in school right now. Check out the full interview below:
