We've been following U.K. dubstep producer Joker quite closely ever since he released 2009's bass heavy anthem, "Purple City." Since then, the musician has released a slew of grimy dubstep beats (most notably, last year's “Tron”) and several remixes. This year is finding him implement more pop into his music, enlisting singer Jesse Ware on his last single “The Vision (Breathe In).”
There was speculation that the song would be included on his debut studio LP, and the artist has just confirmed that the album, called The Vision, will be dropping in November via 4AD, also home to U.K. postdub producer Zomby. The label has also announced that before that they will be releasing new single “Here Come The Lights” on 12,” backed with a song called “Trance Girl.”
Zane Lowe just premiered the A-side, which features vocalist Silus from Turboweekend, on his Hottest Record Of The World show on BBC Radio 1; stream a radio rip of it below. Here Come The Lights drops September 12th; the long wait for Joker's debut LP, The Vision, is over on November 8th.
