Album Stream: Afghan Whigs - Do To The Beast

Afghan Whigs Do To The Beast

Chances are the Afghan Whigs have been around since before you were born, kicking things off in 1986, disbanding in 2001, and reuniting in 2012 for a few performances before releasing their first new record in 16 years, Do To the Beast. You can stream that record now a week in advance of its physical release date courtesy NPR - all serpentine, scintillating guitar riffs, a thundering groove, and slow-burning falsetto lyrics from Greg Dulli, it's probably the best post-apocalyptic strip club soundtrack you'll hear today. You can pick it up in a record store April 15.
