A reason to be very psyched this Wednesday morning - Enter the Slasher House, the new record from Avey Tare of Animal Collective's new band (with ex-Dirty Projector Angel Deradoorian and ex-Ponytail drummer Jeremy Hyman) Slasher Flicks is available for streaming on YouTube a week in advance of its physical release date. Even if you're not a die-hard Animal Collective fan, this is your must-listen for the day - it's a fantastic record that puts all three members' knack for writing weird, irresistible pop songs on display. You already know how much we love "Strange Colores" and "Little Fang," but the rest of the record more than lives up to the promise of those singles. It's also worth noting that the stream comes with awesomely trippy visual accompaniment to every song by Avey's sister Abby Portner. You can pick up Enter the Slasher House in a record store April 8th.
