For the first time in three years, the Norwegian electropop artist Annie has released a new song. "Tube Stops and Lonely Hearts" is described as an "emotional tribute to the rave culture in the early ninties" on her website, and that just about fits the feeling of the thing. Her record label, Totally Records, is set to release the beast of a single on May 1.
She's also just collaborated with another Norwegian by the name of Ralph Myerz. Annie wrote "Take a Look at the World," but it was co-produced with Röyksopp. That'll be available June 3 on Myerz's SuperSonic Pulse. Preview it (30-second iTunes style) on this website that's all in Norwegian.
