Full Stream: Azealia Banks: 1991 EP

Azealia Banks' debut 1991 EP is a glossy, sassy thumper (like all of Azealia's music), courtesy of producers like Machinedrum (the instrumental for the title cut appeared on his SXLND EP as "DDD"). Another quality that we've noticed be fairly constant in the young MC's rapidly expanding repertoire is her knack for smart r&b hooks sandwiched between her typically spry, expletive-laced verses. Consistency is always worth something (just ask Beach House), and with every one of hernewtracks being certifiable bangers, we are pretty excited that 1991 is only the first of the three-prongedauralsiegeAzealia has planned for us this year. Listen to the two new tracks from 1991 below; the EP also features the previously heard "Liquorice" and "212."
