Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino isn’t shy about her love for Fleetwood Mac, so we’re psyched that she’s finally covered one of their songs – she took “Storms,” from Fleetwood's 1979 record Tusk, to a recent BBC Radio session. It’s a tough song to cover – not only is it tough for a band of two people to do justice to the original’s intricate complexity, but it’s an emotionally fraught song with the kind of intensity it’s hard to double – but Best Coast hold their own. That echoed guitar is classic BC, and we’re always impressed by how potent Bethany’s voice is live. Check it out. The band’s next record, The Only Place, is out May 15.
