REC'D: Bombay Bicycle Club - "Shuffle"

British indie pop quartet Bombay Bicycle Club are back with "Shuffle," the first single from their new LP, A Different Kind of Fix (due out August 29 in Europe via Island).

I've always felt that Bombay Bicycle Club were London's answer to the Morning Benders, and "Shuffle" just solidifies this, though instead of taking cues from Grizzly Bear, the band is looking to another East Coast luminary - LCD Soundsystem. The best part of "Shuffle" is that broken down piano backbone that instantly recalls the piano loop on LCD Soundsystem's "All My Friends." The final product, however, is totally different.
