Check Out: Nerves Junior - "Goodnight Nobody"

Nerves Junior Craters

The band that spawned our favorite record of 2011 are back in 2013 with a new EP and several new band members. Based on its single, "Goodnight Nobody," we'd have to say that the Louisville group are still "not afraid to play Jenga with a crystalline pop palace," even if they did have to replace their frontman and a guitarist. The song was written as something of a lullaby to drummer Zachary O'Renick's daughter, as he explains to Consequence of Sound, “‘Goodnight Nobody’ is about wanting to tell my daughter about that transition every child must eventually face when growing up and dealing with the darkness of life.”

Craters is out on February 12 via sonaBLAST
