London-based singer/songwriter/producer Shura a.k.a. Aleksandra Denton crafts that delicate brand of r&b that brings Aaliyah to mind on "Just Once," her latest self-released single. In a pop scene that is fairly dominated with trap, EDM and dub, "Just Once" is a lush, soft-spoken ballad that recalls the self-conscious mannerisms of Abel Tesfaye: "If you get my name wrong, I won't get pissed off cause I wish I was somebody else," she sings.
