Doldrums Announces The Air Conditioned Nightmare, Shares "Hotfoot"

This'll be Doldrums' first record for none other than Sub Pop.

We still crank up Doldrums' 2013 LP Lesser Evil when we're gearing up for a super evil dance party, so we're happy that new music from Montreal's Airick Woodhead is on the horizon - he's just announced some details of his second LP, The Air Conditioned Nightmare, which he'll release via the storied label Sub Pop. You can hear one song, "Hotfoot," now - it's totally nuts, maximalist noise pop, like if your favorite EDM producer decided to use every party-starting drop tone at once. Woodhead's soft vocals always sound half like diary entries and half like summoning incantations, and they're in fine form here. We're psyched to see what else he's got in store - The Air Conditioned Nightmare is out April 6th. Check out "Hotfoot" below then peruse the tracklist.
