With only a handful of remixes (Foals, Andy bell, Delorean) and singles to his name, Southeast London DJ/producer Deadboy has earned merit in a developing dubstep/bass movement, one which is growing rapidly in the UK. His latest subject is one for the masses, transforming the opening track from Drake's debut Thank Me Later into a poignant, atmospheric masterpiece.

Deadboy's principle focus from “Fireworks” is the delicate piano chords, using them as the foundation for impassioned, ethereal bass track that grows more beautiful as it progresses. Stripping Drake's vocals, save for “money just changed,” and giving Alicia Keys' voice a high pitch resonance, Deadboy presents a completely refurbished song with his Slo Mo Edit of “Fireworks,” one that will likely intensify the anticipation for this producer's first full length.
