We know we say "listen to this before it gets huge!" all the time, but we say that because we are often right about those things, and we love a lot of catchy pop bands. We are now going to bestow that blessing upon the L.A. duo holychild's new song "Playboy Girl," in which a happy-go-lucky, stadium-sized pop beat (seriously, we can't sing the praises of this beat enough; was it created in a lab?) underlies singer Liz Nistico's shimmery, harmonic disappointment with a guy (or larger society?) that expects her to be a Playboy girl. Color us extremely excited for more from this band - and crank it up.
